Before you sign up for Level 2, please read below. Level 2 builds on the content introduced in the Level 1 class.
Join us for two music theory sessions presented by Jason Tyler, lead teacher at One Three Guitar!
Level 1
- - Discover the building blocks of melody and harmony, and learn how pop artists choose chords.
- - Unlock the “key” to understanding key signatures and how to effectively memorize them.
- - Learn how chords are constructed within a key and how to use them effectively in your music.
Level 2
Prerequisite: You must have completed the Level 1 class above, OR have completed our Theory Seminar back in March 2024.
- - Master the expressive extensions of common chords and how spell/create them.
- - Explore the darker and alternative minor harmony and how it functions in music today.
- - Uncover the secrets of voice leading and harmonic analysis to create the perfect melody.
